Worm Food and Bone Sand is a tender and unflinching debut poetry collection detailing the awkward beauty that lies within the loss of innocence and the evolution of self. Through a recollection of her teenage years, Caitlin plunges readers into striking ruminations on identity and mortality, trauma and transformation, and the vulnerability of discovering love.
A time capsule of firsts flitting between witching hour, the sea, crumpled linen, bare skin, and the deep recesses of memory, Worm Food and Bone Sand takes no prisoners and dissects all that is painful in protest of impermanence.
