Structural Editing (also known as structural or developmental editing) is a tailored, collaborative process designed to strengthen the core elements of your manuscript. Following an in-depth review, you will receive a detailed editorial letter accompanied by line edits, margin notes, actionable suggestions, and feedback. From there, it’s up to you to implement the suggestions and, if desired, submit your revised manuscript for additional rounds of feedback.

Copyediting focuses on the accuracy, clarity and consistency of your manuscript at the sentence level. It occurs after structural editing and focuses on spelling, grammar, syntax, and punctuation.

Proofreading ensures that your manuscript is ready for publication. Typically performed after typesetting, it catches design errors, typos, and legibility issues, ensuring consistency throughout the document.
